Color Reflex

Color Reflex is a reaction game stripped to one decision: a target colour appears, and you tap the matching swatch before the round timer empties. Early rounds give you well over two seconds and three options. By round twenty the window is under a second and there are up to eight swatches on screen, so you stop reading and start recognising. One wrong tap or one expired timer ends the run, which makes each round genuinely tense rather than a formality.

• Tap the matching swatch from the options below.
• Every correct answer starts a new, faster round.
• A wrong tap or an expired timer ends the run.

• Your score is the number of rounds cleared.
• The round timer shortens as the run continues, down to a floor of 0.7 seconds.
• More colour options appear every few rounds.
• The correct swatch is always present among the options.

• Look at the swatch, not the colour name — the name is only a confirmation.
• Keep your eyes near the middle of the option grid so no swatch is far from focus.
• Do not second-guess. In a sub-second window, your first read is usually right.
• Rest your thumb between rounds instead of hovering over the last answer.
• Play in good lighting; similar shades are much harder to separate on a dim screen.

There is no strategy to hide behind, so your score is a clean read of how quickly you can see something and act on it. Runs are short enough that a bad one costs nothing and a good one is immediately worth defending.

How does the difficulty increase?

Each round has a shorter timer and, every few rounds, an extra colour option.

What ends a run?

Tapping the wrong colour or letting the round timer reach zero.

Is Color Reflex the same as Color Match?

No. Color Match tests word-colour conflict; Color Reflex is a pure speed match against a shrinking timer.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. The swatch grid is designed for thumbs on a phone screen.
